Social media accounts should be the property of the account holder, not the platform

That’s not true under current law

So we should change the law
Social media platforms invited you to mix your labor with their technology

And became fabulously wealthy as a result of that exchange

While reserving the right to confiscate the fruits of your labor, as it sees fit

It doesn’t have to be this way
Social media platforms don’t “suspend” users

They steal users’ accounts from them
“We suspended your account.”

“If it was my account, what gives you the right?”
