MY CONGRATS TO SEUN ONIGBINDE
Let me start with a joke chemical engineers can relate with. There was a time my work team had process issues regarding Calcium Hypo injection into a water treatment system, and we continued achieving an undesirable Zero residual free chlorine.

Young Nigerians, who are wizards of chemical engineering had told us, the problem is the Caustic Soda we are injecting upstream for pH control. That the it should be stopped. Oyinbo thinking say na long nose be brain, hurriedly brought a young Australian to solve the problem.

When the Australian arrived, we were intimidated, when he asked few questions and started writing Fubini's Theorem & 3rd order reaction differential equation on d white board. I said to myself, " Chai!! its this boy that will sack all Nigerian chemical engineers in this company."

After spending 3ice d time Nigerians had spent on d problem, and he couldnt fix it, he started begging to be shown how things work. He was asked to start, by learning how to collect water Lab samples like a trainee. 🤣
Twas d earlier rejected solution from Nigerians, that worked.

Like @jeffphilips1 stated, govt has just enrolled Seun Onigbinde as a trainee at the Budget & Planning Office, to see & learn how onerous & cumbersome a nation's budgeting process is. Its not like the boarding house students Milk & Milo list @BudgITng was doing with infographics.

When I was applauding Seun's appointment, a retiree of Budget Office laughed, that d title Technical Adviser is a trap. Does Seun know d complexities of how to discover legislators padded figures? He's a ManU fan. He said our euphoria is like when ManU hyped Lukaku's first touch.

Without being pessimistic, when Seun settle, before making head way, like d Australian, he will first drop his title & start volunteering to help carry projector, for Budget people, who have been battling Ministers & Legislators "budget ojuju" for years. I truly wish him success!
