Twitter disappeared this thread, so I'm reposting it.
First tweet is still here:

Rest is gone. Pffft! Disappeared.
So here we go again -
1/
2/ Twitter has introduced 2 new functions which censor gender critical women.
Twitter can now silence and no-platform us even when we have not violated their policies, had our account features limited, or been suspended/banned.
And they are silencing us en masse.
THREAD - pls RT
3/ The first woman-silencing feature is REPLY DEBOOSTING.
I'm deboosted, as are almost all my gender critical followers (mainly women).
It means our Twitter contributions & interactions are less visible/less likely to be seen.
We're not silenced but our visibility is "demoted".
4/ This explains *reply deboosting*.
If it is not politically motivated I'll eat my hat:
5/ The second woman-silencing feature is far more insidious.
It prevents gender critical people (mainly women) from viewing any replies to selected tweets.
We can reply but we cannot see what anyone else says. Thus we cannot interact, argue engage with or challenge other replies.
6/ For example - there are 1100 replies to this tweet:

Like almost all gender critical women, and a few gender critical men, I cannot see a single reply, so I cannot engage.
But my husband can, from his Twitter account, because he hasn't been "flagged".
7/ When Twitter rolled out this new feature they said
1/ it would be Canada only, and
2/ that replies would be hidden but could be viewed if you clicked on "show hidden replies" (click on arrow top right of tweet, as for report/mute/block options).

Neither of these is true.
8/ Here is Twitter's announcement and ahem, consultation, on the few feature:

Please do reply and tell them what you think.
9/ @DevonRapeCrisis in the UK is using this feature to exclude women's voices.
I cannot see the 775 replies to their tweet here:

If I click on 'show hidden replies', I see this:
10/ @adamliaw in Australia is using this feature to exclude women's voices.
I cannot see 976 replies to their tweet here:

If I click on 'show hidden replies', I see this:
11/ Tish explains this new woman-silencing feature in more detail:
12/ This is an absolute outrage to women's freedom of speech!
Can @HumanRightsCtte do something?
Please everyone speak out about this!
Retweet! Speak to your MP/representative.
And complain to
@Twitter @delbius @jack and the (pointless toothless) UK Twitter rep @katyminshall
13/ A controversial thread by ''Professor of Public Engagement in Science' @thealiceroberts (she blocked me so I can't share) in which she accused gender critical women of aligning with "far right biological essentialists" has also utilised 'Hide Replies from Critics' function.
14/ Other people who critique trans activism are having their own threads 'disappeared':
15/ My first version of this thread was deleted by Twitter, all bar first tweet, with no explanation, notification or warning.

If you know how, please archive this thread, and RETWEET.
There are other new dissent-silencing Twitter functions to add to list.
More to follow.
