The @RemainerNow team were at #LDConf for a few days we had a stand and an event. The idea was to raise awareness amongst activists but also meet/chat to parliamentarians so they could learn more about us & how we could help them & anti-brexit colleagues.

Here is who we met 👇
First here are the parliamentarians we met on the exhibition stand we had. They came and talked to us about our campaign & how they can help, they heard #RemainerNow stories, saw some video content and collected handouts and our new business cards.
Also thank you to MEPs @europesheila and @JudithBuntingLD for also coming by on Saturday to learn more.

Thank you to @Barb_G for spending time with us on Sunday morning and pitching the idea that we do a #RemainerNow trip to Brussels to show the EU MEPs that people in the UK have changed their minds.

Big thanks also to @catherinemep for the amount of time she spent at the stall.

It was fantastic that @sarahwollaston came by and listened to us, she could fully understand having originally backed leave in 2016 before switching to remain having seen the NHS bus lies.

On Monday @DrPhillipLeeMP and @DoddsJane stopped by to learn more about what we do, thanks to them for giving us the time.

And on Tuesday, Baroness @SarahLudford (a long time follower) also came by to show her support. Thanks to Sarah.

And finally @timfarron also stopped by, he was very keen to learn more about what we do and especially if there are any #RemainerNow @Cumbria4Europe meet.

We also had several parliamentarians come along to our "off campus fringe" we arranged with @Dorset4E on the Sunday evening. They got the chance to listen to 5 great #RemainerNow speakers and say how important their voices were.
Thanks to @CarolineVoaden MEP for coming along and also her colleague @MartinChelt MEP who also joined listened intently and also spoke at the event.

As we are a cross party group it was also fantastic that Green MEP @MollyMEP travelled down specifically to come to our event and give her views.

We are very grateful to @ChukaUmunna who also fitted our event into his schedule, he was particularly moved by @danielelaycock's powerful #RemainerNow story. Thanks to him.

It was great that @thomasbrake also came by to listen and then talk about how important #RemainerNow ladies and gents will be in any #PeoplesVote campaign and also take audience questions.

Members of our team also managed to meet many MPs around the conference venue and at other events. For instance on the Friday #RemainerNow @ChrisOram1990 spend a long time chatting to @EdwardJDavey and also @LaylaMoran about his journey, as Layla said here
#RemainerNow @juliantblack met @lucianaberger outside the conference venue and made sure she was familiar with what we do and the Powerful voices like his we share.

And we also managed to catch @angelasmithmp @SamGyimah and @vincecable who all were aware of the campaign from previous meetings but great to keep up links.
It was all very worthwhile and we hope all parliamentarians raise awareness with their cross party colleagues.

We will be on Brighton this Sunday to try and have similar conversations with @UKLabour MPs and MEPs.

We also have an event, details here
