So going to go out on a limb with a slightly out there brexit prediction.

1. There will be no "new" deal with the EU due to PM Johnson's refusal to negotiate without the backstop being removed. This will be clear by September.

2. A VONC is tabled & with 20 Tory rebels succeeds.

3. Labour under Corbyn can't pull together a majority but with many anti no deal Tories not fancying an election where they would not be able to back manifesto and with many moderate labour MPs looking at the polling, cross party grandees look for another way, a grand coalition.

4. This leads to a cabinet led by a senior labour back bencher e.g Yvette Cooper, along with several senior Tories, a couple of SNP and Lib Dems and Caroline Lucas. There first job is to ask for an extension to avoid no deal disaster.

5. Knowing the EU will only grant one with good reason, many MPs who were once reluctant to back a #PeoplesVote, agreed to back one with Accept the Withdrawal agreement v Revoke on the ballot, where some of the govt campaigning to leave as they feel it's the right thing to do.

6. Whilst there are many vocal objections from the Farage's and Moggs of this world, there are no mass riots and the vote takes place early in 2020. Remain win the vote on a turnout of about 70% by about 60:40 on the back of promises to tackle real issues in UK. A50 is revoked.

7. For continuity, the govt continues for a year and implements promised policies including granting more powers for Wales, Scotland and NI. The UK is still a divided and many former brexiteers are angry but not as many as people feared, as govt can actually do things now.

Ok this may be far fetched and slightly influenced by wishful thinking, but many of the other possible outcomes have a clear blocks, so stranger things have happened.
