'The O Reports': State Department has started releasing Christopher Steele's heavily redacted pre-dossier intel reports.

@JudicialWatch Jonathan Winer handled Steele's reports on Russia and Ukraine in 2014 and 2015, and sent them to a small group of State officials, including Victoria Nuland.

He dubbed them the "O Reports," and circulated them through a State Department contractor.
Winer would play a key role in disseminating Steele's information about Trump to State. He was also a background source for at least two reporters (Isikoff and Corn) for their dossier-based stories.

The source for the story, Serhiy Leshchenko*, said he didn't say what he's quoted saying.

*Leshchenko promoted "black ledger," was identified by Nellie Ohr as a Fusion GPS source of some sort, and is a big critic of Trump
ABC reporter says he has a recording of Leshchenko saying that Ukraine side was told that Zelensky had to discuss Biden in order to meet with Trump.

This is straight-up gaslighting - Stelter accuses conservatives of trying to "tear down" CNN's report that CIA extracted spy because of concerns about Trump.

Sciutto accuses Fox of pushing a "counternarrative."

But it was NYT that undercut CNN's story! dailycaller.com/2019/09/15/cnn…
New Yorker's Susan Glasser is the one who brings up that NYT's report conflicted with Sciutto's.

Stelter doesn't acknowledge that, and Sciutto turns to blaming Fox News instead of addressing the discrepancy with NYT.
Oh, and Sciutto acknowledges that the Trump component of his reporting was based on *1* source.

...nature of those relationships nor identifying the countries involved. The benefit of adding a smidgen of evidence to #SPYGATE prosecutions is not worth the enormous cost of breaking any fragile arrangements with foreign governments. Losing what the US gains is not worth it.
Just because people want instant justice for seditious conspirators throughout the government doesn’t mean Wray has damn good reasons to withhold information that would cause exceptionally grave damage to national security. It’s for Wray, Barr, judge, & president to decide.

State Department emails show that former State official Jonathan Winer facilitated meetings between dossier author Christopher Steele and multiple private consulting firms.
Winer served as Steele’s main point of contact to the State Department, and was the official responsible for disseminating the anti-Trump dossier through Foggy Bottom.
