Nothing is over until the very final light goes out, but boy, oil companies and governments and polluting industries and people making money on them really do love it when you sit quietly at home and don’t bother to complain.
If you can’t have hope, then for the love of god, have vengeance. Make these bastards pay for every dead meadowlark and poisoned bee. Make sure they don’t enjoy the fruits of their labor.
But quiet, cynical ennui is as good as support. If you can’t be optimistic, then at least be mad.
