@magi_jay While every candidate has a few supporters who go too far and take advantage of social media pseudonymity or anonymity to harass and bully those who disagree with them. But, only two candidates have systemic issues with racist and misogynistic fans, Trump & Sanders
@magi_jay I believe this is a natural result of the kind of populist message they both foster. Trump says all your problems are the fault of black and brown people. Sanders says all your problems are the fault of Wall Street. An honest politicians says it's more complicated than that.
@magi_jay Both Trump and Sanders do not acknowledge that there is any legitimate disagreement with their ideas. If you disagree with Trump, you're disloyal to America. If you disagree with Sanders, you're bought and paid for by Wall Street. They do not believe in loyal opposition
@magi_jay Both candidates anathematize their opposition. Both candidates are flattered by bad behavior. They smile at vulgar attacks on women. They grin at chants that disrupt other people. They encourage with smiles, nods, and grins the kind of behavior that is out of bounds.
@magi_jay Sanders can tweet about how racist and sexist bullying is not acceptable, but he hired David Sirota, Rose DeMoro, Nina Turner, Briahna Joy and has amplified the worst anti-HRC assholes Susan Sarandon, Shaun King, Killer Mike (NRA Mike), His choices affirm his desire for bullying
