Full disclosure: my nickname for Victor Boyarkin is Chef Boyardee because we are always hearing about Putin’s chef Prigozhin fucking around all over the world too, so my brain decided to go back to 3rd grade, and “chef boyardee “ it is!

1. It’s actually quite rude to ask someone how #deaf they are.

1.1 because there’s no direct relationship between how much hearing you have and how well you integrate with the hearing. Most of my friends can, technically, hear things I physically can’t.
2. Sign languages are actually languages, not just a fun accessibility tool.
