"How To Create The Right APPEAL For Your Sales Copy"

Okay! I've actually talked about this before but today's "episode" is a BANGER.

Let's dig it!

One of the major difficulties in writing a sales copy is picking the right appeal that will SELL.

The keyword there is "SELL"
If you're going to sell anything the appeal should be one that actually affects your audience the most.

You don't just wip out any appeal because it 'sounds' good.

And to find this appeal you have to follow these few proven steps below:

1) Knowing your audience: There's
no two ways about this. Knowing your audience is the numero uno that determines the appeal you'll use. No appeal will sell to the wrong audience.

2) Understanding your audience: By 'understanding' I mean being in their shoes. For you to pick the right appeal u have to imagine
Yourself being the customer. You have to know how they feel...if they can afford that product..if they truly need your product and the rest.

3) Knowing their worldview about your solution or niche as a whole

Worldview according to Seth Godin means 'the story/belief people have
about a particular product/industry/niche/whatever'. This is actually a strong belief that is nearly impossible to change.

Okay, let's say you want to sell BBNAIJA to pastors who haven't even watched the show for once.

You need to know that their worldview of the show is that
the show promotes irresponsibility. Knowing this will help you choose the right appeal to use in your copy.

3) Identifying the HIDDEN pain:

You see...

We humans have our hidden pains that we don't tell anyone-no matter how close. A man surfing the internet for sex enhancement
products has a pain. That pain influences his buying behavior not even his budget.

If the pain is too strong and your product is the solution, trust me.. he'll go and borrow.

So you need to know the pain of customer for you to pick a good appeal.

Yeah that's all. Ohh before...
I forget, you also need to know your product. That's number 5 step. You can't sell what you don't know a thing about.

Know your product before choosing the right appeal.

Thanks and have Goodnight y'all.
