This extremely biased right-wing scholar Frank Dikötter, whose grossly exaggerated, ridiculous death tolls from the Chinese revolution and famine are often cited as unquestionable gospel, is now openly defending China's pre-revolutionary history of colonial domination & feudalism
This biased scholar Dikötter, whose absurd "45 million Chinese dead" figure is widely cited as absolute truth, also rewrote and erased the history of the colonial opium war and mass addiction imposed on China, in order to subjugate its people

Tulsi's analysis here is 100% correct: The US is not actually removing its 1,000+ troops; Trump *moved* them, so Turkey can invade

She's also right that the US pressured the Kurdish-led groups not to reconcile with the Syrian govt (the only real solution)
I don't agree with all of Tulsi's views, but on Syria she is 100% correct. She is the only major politician I've seen correctly analyzing what is actually happening

She's also truly committed to ending this criminal regime-change war—which still continues

This strategy is maintaining the US military occupation of NE Syria (the oil-rich breadbasket region) while allowing a Turkish invasion

A good piece by Frank Dikötter on 70th anniversary fo the People's Republic of China: foreignpolicy.com/2019/10/01/the…. I agree with Frank that "liberation" is a misnomer: who or what was China liberated from in 1949?
I disagree, however, with his description of pre-1949 China as some kind of a vibrant democracy. It was a kleptocracy. Chiang Kai-shek was in all fairness a fascist, if an incompetent one at that.
Chiang presided over a deeply divided country, battered by war, mismanagement, and corruption. That's why he lost the civil war. I'd recommend this primer: amazon.com/Chiang-Kai-She….
