"He’s got soft-on-crime policy down to a fine art." 4 reporters" contributed to this low-brow snark of a hit piece filled w/ childish play-on-words letting cops fume about a new pre-trial diversion art program for the lowest level misdemeanor arrests. nypost.com/2019/10/02/new…
Some ridiculous gems from this pathetic article:

"The scheme — dubbed Project Reset — outraged cops, who say Brooklyn DA Gonzalez should go back to the drawing board."

"Gonzalez insisted the sketchy scheme makes the justice system 'fairer.'"
The "reporters" let random "police sources" go anonymous: "I’m honestly flabbergasted. You’re just giving the criminals all the power. What about victim’s rights? You steal from someone but bc it’s a low level crime we’re going to put you in an art class? It’s getting scary.”
The "reporters" refer to people accused of low-level offenses, mostly crimes of poverty as:

"Suspects."
"Vandals."
"Criminals."
Project Reset is a positive pre-arraignment diversion program introduced by the @BrooklynDA for an exceptionally limited number of offenses that after arrest people cannot even be held overnight for. It saves money. It treats people humanely. And enhances public safety.
Shame as always on @nypost.

You continue to promote & protect criminal laws & policies that hurt predominately people of color, cost taxpayers a fortune, decrease public safety, & fail to heal trauma of crime survivors.

Even so, I know you can do better. Do better than this.
