Hey, are there any Republicans who might want to investigate Jared Kushner's sudden $2 billion bailout by the Qatari government like... immediately after that government needed the US to intervene to stop the Saudi blockade?
And remember how Donald Trump was SUPER pro Saudi at first?
And then Kushner's dad worked out a great deal.

So the deal closes with finality in May, 2018. And Mike Pompeo tells the Saudis to stop the blockade in late April, 2018.

I mean, I don't KNOW that anything untoward went on. But this is certainly much stronger than the Hunter Biden account--in which the entire international community urges the firing of a prosecutor who was not investigating Biden, thus proving his father's corrupt intent.

Instead of reading Rich Lowry's terrible piece on slavery, I suggest everyone take a minute to read this 1851 case from the Supreme Court of Georgia, holding that killing a slave was not murder. /1
A man wanted to sue his neighbor for killing his slave. But the rule back then was that a man couldn't be made to pay for a civil wrong if he could have first been criminally tried. /2
So the defendant's job, ironically, was to establish that his killing of a slave had been a murder. And that it was the seriousness of that crime that put him beyond the reach of civil courts. /3

Russia was spending $1.25 million/month one one IRA operation alone (not counting hacking by Fancy Bear, Cozy Bear). Majority of RU FB propaganda was through not ads, but posts & fake events

1/ It can be tempting to regard Jared Kushner as a little twerp, an undeserving nebbish who bought his way into Harvard yet somehow gets to boink Ivanka and also run the country. Let’s put that stupid narrative aside.
2/ Kushner is arguably the most egregious lawbreaker & evildoer in all of Trump’s Cell Bock D of an administration. He is more criminal mastermind than schlemiel. Not a GOOD criminal mastermind, but still. What is already publicly known is enough to convict him many times over.
