Paul Pelosi Jr. visited Ukraine in his role as the executive director of the Corporate Governance Initiative, a role he took on on Feb. 1, 2017.
The Corporate Governance Initiative is "an organization committed to assisting organizations to adhere to a system of guidelines, practices, and procedures by which a company is directed."

Not sure what that has to do with "soccer."

Paul Pelosi Jr. (Nancy Pelosi's son) was picked to lead CGI "after a national search and selection process" ... "with his ringing endorsement of CGI’s mission to shed light on improper corporate governance worldwide."
Paul is still listed as an executive director on the CGI website.

NYT: "Republicans charge, without evidence, that Mr. Biden was trying to stop an investigation into his son."

That's true, but what's omitted is huge.

Here is why. Thread:
Yes, there is no evidence that Viktor Shokin, the Ukrainian prosecutor who Biden got fired, was investigating Hunter Biden.

But it is also true Shokin was investigating Burisma, the company where Hunter Biden served on the board of directors.
Why is it important that Shokin was investigating Burisma when Hunter Biden was working there and his dad got Shokin fired?

Because there is a source on record with Reuters saying Burisma hired Biden to protect the company.
