He tries to claim "at no time was I aware of or took part in an effort to urge Ukraine to investigate" Biden.

Who is he fooling?

NEW YORK TIMES had a blockbuster story May 9, 2019 with Giuliani on the record saying this was the point of the effort.
Elsewhere Volker tries to say:

Sure I was involved in confidential discussions to pressure Ukraine to investigate "Burisma," but we didn't use the word "Biden."

He's really insulting everyone's intelligence.

Here's from NYT May 9 story that Volker SURELY READ.

Or maybe Volker somehow also missed this earlier New York Times May 1 blockbuster story establishing that Giuliani's efforts to pressure Ukraine on Burisma investigation was all about Biden.

Sorry, Ambassador Volker, you're not wriggling out of this part of it.

May 23: Days after Trump raged about Biden/Ukraine on Fox, Volker met with him and Trump spoke of his discussions w/ Giuliani. But he never brought up investigating Biden? Please.
