The cowardice of elected Republicans is staggering. Even those who detach from the herd do so millimeters at a time, testing the waters with platitudes and 'deep concern' over things any patriot of either party should be howling about. It's what passes for heroic in today's @gop.

@GOP The saddest thing? We are grateful and moved by these crumbs of decency thrown our way like we are a focus group to measure just how little they can get away with. How much hedging they can do while the country burns and our stand in the world diminishes. It's vile, nor brave.

@GOP Where are the true leaders? the ones with conscience, love of country, courage of conviction? Where is the voice that inspires a generation of young conservatives who identify with the honorable principals the GOP is shitting on without a second thought? Where are the patriots?

@GOP I want to witness the first man or woman who will stand up for their country, a country they profess to love so much when it comes to "supporting our troops". You know what has led our youth to fight and die, the world over, for centuries?The belief that this country is worth it.

@GOP If you truly represented us, Americans, you would protect what is best about us: our unshakeable belief in justice, democracy, fairness, decency. You wouldn't sit back and watch a man piss on everything we hold sacred in our government, including the IC community.

@GOP You disgust me, @GOP. Not because you don't align w/ my beliefs. You chose to ignore everything about the human excrement you elected, particularly the fact that he aligned with none of your beliefs. I despise you because you're weak, cowardly, and unpatriotic. You're pathetic.
