#Ukrainegate meet Swamp

As Giuliani was pushing Ukraine on Biden, Trump-Giuliani associates were “trying to install new management at the top of Ukraine’s massive state gas company...to steer lucrative contracts to companies controlled by Trump allies.” apnews.com/d7440cffba4940…
“The Trump and Giuliani allies ... appear to have had inside knowledge of the U.S. government’s plans in Ukraine. For example, they told people that Trump would replace the U.S. ambassador there months before she was actually recalled.”
When the AP says allies, these were very close allies.

Two of the three businessmen—Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman—are same two men who coordinated and helped Giuliani with Ukrainian officials to push for Biden and 2016 investigations.
Key lines:

One of three men “told Favorov [the Ukraine gas company exec they planned to elevate and then sell gas to company] that he regularly meets with Trump at Mar-a-Lago and that the gas-sales plan had the president’s full support...
Favorov perceived it to be a shakedown.”
