Pathetic.

I like Kerr, but don’t see why anyone should listen to his lectures about social justice issues ever again.
All these NBA people acted offended over someone saying NBA players should just “shut up and dribble,” but as soon as they get asked about a major human rights topic that might present some actual financial risk to them, they start imposing the rule on themselves.
Also, you don’t have to be that well-versed to understand a totalitarian regime that puts millions of citizens in camps based solely on their religion, silences dissent, and squashes freedom movements is bad.

So much hypocrisy being exposed here.
Wouldn’t blame people who said “I have my personal opinions, but they aren’t relevant to my job as an NBA coach/player. I’m focused on winning games”.

But you can’t use your platform to rant about US issues every day and then feign ignorance when asked about much worse abuses.
Next time Kerr starts using his platform to lecture about some political issue happening in America, people should simply respond by asking if he figured out whether what China is doing to their people and their attempts to silence free expression here are bad yet...
