Seeing Barr & Rubio go on the attack in favor of "traditional values" is one of the greatest examples of hypocrisy in my lifetime.

Traditionally, we welcomed refugees regardless of their financial status. Traditionally, we expected presidents to behave at least somewhat like decent humans. Traditionally, we expected civil servants to serve our nation over a would-be strongman dictator.
Traditionally, the 2.5 kids, white picket fence, & chicken in every pot wasn't for people who didn't look like those in power. Traditionally, Christianity is about loving your neighbor & cherishing the poor. Traditionally, people who mock disabled folks are ostracized.
Traditionally, it was taboo to rob from the poor & give to the rich...at least in the open. Traditionally, America valued science & respected scientists. Traditionally, it was good to be anti-fascist...in fact, those traditional folks won WW2.
And traditionally, people in opposing political parties were both working to do better for the next generation, with few exceptions. Now, the traditional party of fiscal responsibility & hard work is best known for passing the buck & showing its soft underbelly.
Your lip service to "traditional values," is just fellating the puppet master who owns you. You are dishonoring America. You're condoning abandoning our allies to shadowbox the bogeyman you try to make of people of color, queer folks, & whoever Trump targets next. For shame. /fin
