How I used GIVEAWAY STRATEGY to set up a business for Miss IBK.

Early this year while I was busy with my business on how to increase my sales in a month, this lady (an old friend) approached me with pity face😌

She asked me to help her on how to start doing something online.

The first question I asked her was, do you have any skills you can offer as a service? She said no.
Do you have any capital to start a business? She said no.

“Madam if you don’t have capital to start a business go learn a skill jare”🤣

The next month this madam appeared in my dm and told me she raised some amount of money from friends and relatives but she’s not sure if it will be enough...
How much? I asked and she said the amount.

She said something that day “AZ joor aye o Ni baje ooo, hope I won’t regret this ooo“
I told her, don’t worry ma’am 😉 I gat you 😂 “i play too much”...

I explained the business model to her...I told her I have some connects in China that do shoe replica...

like Gucci, Versace, Louis Vuitton and the likes (once they finish it you can’t know the difference with the original) ...so you will get the shoes @12-15k and sell here in Nigeria @ 30-35k...

Madame paused for a while and was like😳are you serious? that’s 15k profit...

I said I don’t joke when it comes to business baby😂.

Before madame carry the profit for head I sharply clear her that she will pay for this and that and the total profit she should be expecting is around 7-8k/one.

“😌...ehn that isn’t bad also abi” she said..

How can I get the type of shoe to sell now? She asked (Madam was eager to start the business)

“This is where the strategy starts”

So I told her, go online and get a picture of 6 shoes that you think you can get for your boyfriend and I will help you get some pictures also...

After like 2days I think, she came back with some pictures and sent to me so i choose 3 shoes from the images and I sent my own pictures to her also and she picked 3 out of it. Making 6 in total.

So I told her to take a chill pill 💊 and I will handle the matter from here...

so she transferred the money to me without telling me, (I didn’t expect her to trust me with that amount tho cause madam na one kain akagum)

My first plan was to send the pictures to my connect in China so they can select one or two for us since her budget is too slim...

I paused for a while and I was like these chinko guy’s will just select any one for us since na money they wan collect
So I decided to test these shoes with Facebook advert.

My first aim for the advert isn’t to get sales but to know which one ☝🏽 people like most...

and secondly to know the common shoe size cause that’s one of the problems in shoe business...

As I was thinking on how to help this lady to achieve her aims with her little budget, My dad(May his soul RIP) just whispered to my ear and said *use your head*🤣

oh sorry he doesn’t speak English when he was alive, he said *Ma lo opolo ee*😂

The only way people can give you more attention is to offer them a free item/product.
Yes, I need there quick attention since my client (even though she doesn’t pay me a dime😃)

...doesn’t have enough budget ...so I set up a GIVEAWAY ADVERT on one of my FB page that’s related to Boutique...I used 5$/day and run the advert for Friday and Saturday.

But before I setup the advert, I decided to setup a chatbot “Manychat” to the advert in other to get accurate results (i can’t be counting customers response in comments section and also chat with them one by one)

Here’s the picture of the advert and the chatbot setup very simple and easy to read for anybody 🤣

So, lo and behold i used this Giveaway strategy to decide on the shoe to buy and another thing is i used this same strategy to get the shoe size we can buy with our little budget...

*Wait⚠️...* the story doesn’t end there (is this even a story?🤣 I don’t know 🤷‍♂️)

*This is not a cock and bull story*

After i got the result I want, I checked some competitors on facebook in other to check how they sell their own shoes 👞 some was selling for 35k while some sell for 32k and 29k, the highest was 35k then...

So I told the lady, that you will sell yours for 32k, she said something that day *Azeez je ka shey ni 30k since some are selling it for 29k so that i can sell fast and buy again with my Profit * 🤣

madame calm down am your driver here 😃

So I told her that instead of selling yours for 30k why not give any customers that buy your shoe a free gift 🎁 to make yours more package since your competitors doesn’t do that... (madam go back to default settings after hearing that)😂

What do you think you can use as a gift for your buyer? I asked her, she paused for a while and said belt and socks will be okay na, but how can we get the belt and socks 🧦 at low price so that it won’t affect my profit (what madame is all about na her profit) 🤣

So I told her, 1688 is the guy for the job.

Lo and behold to cut the long story short we procure the shoes from my chinko guy’s and got the socks and belt from 1688...

madame is doing good with her 4 months old business now even though she never pay tithe 🤣

Oh sorry she paid once😃

P.S All this scenario happened this year May
