Blimey. @BorisJohnson has told Liaison Committee he
won't attend his planned hearing tomorrow, instead asking for a date to be scheduled for “5 or 6 months” after he became Prime Minister.
@BorisJohnson Here's his handwritten letter and @sarahwollaston reply
@BorisJohnson @sarahwollaston One thought that struck me when I saw this letter: crikey, is he actually going to announce something v important on Thursday morning? A new business statement after agreeing new timetable with Labour for his Brexit bill?
Then I thought, maybe he's just not done his homework in time for the Liaison Cttee and it was a cram too far.
But maybe the real reason is the PM wants one last bit of revenge against Sarah Wollaston, and assumes she'll no longer be an MP by the time he next gives evidence..?
