The tool -- a mandatory Chrome extension -- will report staffers who create an internal event w/ 10+ rooms or 100+ participants, acc to an employee memo, which alleges it is "an attempt of leadership to immediately learn about any worker organization attempts.”
Google said the employee allegations were "categorically false." But Google's own privacy team said the tool raised "a number of concerns with respect to the culture at Google,” according to sources.
