So, I'm going to come out and say something that's going to sound odd as fuck and will catch me some heat even though it really shouldn't once I explain it. Not that the people who are going to throw heat my way ever bother to fully hear me out, so hey, go fuck yourselves.

I don't give a fuck that Lindsey Graham isn't doing hearings on spygate. Really, I don't. I don't care that the Senate isn't looking at spygate at all. Hell, I don't really WANT any of the GOP in the Senate looking into spygate.

The reason is very, extremely simple:

It would do absolutely, positively, no good whatsoever.

House and Senate 'investigations' are, inherently, worthless, and ultimately only serve to sour and skew public perceptions and make any actual justice worthless.

Eric Holder should be prosecuted for Fast and Furious, and the prosecutorial coverups he launched in the ashes of it

But instead, the House and Senate investigated it to death, it was driven into the ground and made a partisan issue, and then he got a slap on the wrist and was 'held in contempt'.

My cats hold me in contempt for not feeding them at 3 am, and THAT has more punch than Holder's.

The House and Senate had majorities for 2 years to figure out what happened with Muh Russia, and what did we get?

Mueller running his investigation the entire time, with Democrats able to generate more smoke than Katie Hill's bong so they could scream there's a fire.

Investigations that go nowhere, meaningless resolutions and gestures and letters, this is the game of a failed and broken government to create the illusion of oversight and responsibility. I don't even fear the fake and illegitimate House impeachment inquiry because its toothless

I quite sincerely believe that all of this is just pageantry and illusions to make the American people believe that their government still represents them in some sense, that there's still a purpose to it.

There's not.

So fuck the House, and fuck the Senate.
