Controversial Friday opinion: I have completely avoided Pumpkin Spice Lattes for years and have ZERO regrets. NONE! #sorrynotsorry
Some are pointing out this could be held against me in the future. Sometimes you have to stand by your convictions, people. Pumpkin pie = YES. Pumpkin spice latte = No. I would establish an entire federal party on that platform. High risk but I live by my values dang it.
I have been emboldened and I blame social media... I am going out on a limb with another fall "no"... Parsnips. The worst vegetable. Don't get me wrong, I love veggies, but parsnips are not invited to my dinner party. Change my mind.

BACKGROUNDS

This was the MOST common response in the thread.

REFERENCES: I keep a Pinterest board of environment art/scenery/photography/etc. of any references I’ll need later on. This also includes other comics, ones that I see have a good grasp on backgrounds. (1)
Also: use a gradient for some backgrounds! You don’t need a detailed background on every panel. Good rule of thumb: an establishing shot at the beginning of every new scene and at LEAST one nice background per page to remind the reader where they are. (2)

Orange is my favourite colour. No other colour comes close. I am not too sure where the obsession began. I am pretty sure it stems from the Chinar leaf 🍁 (or as Canadians like to refer to it as Maple leaf) it will always be a Chinar for us 1/?
All the best things are orange. The fruit 🍊 pumpkins 🎃 (no, not pumpkin spice lattes, that trash is weird). Kashmir, nothing beats my Dadi’s Kahwa straight out of a samawar. In the summers when it’d be sweltering I’d still ask her to make me some. She’d always look at me 2/?

White people are the only people you're allowed to "make jokes" about by referencing pumpkin spice lattes & gender reveal parties & by calling white women "Becky." Making similar comments about any other race will end with your life being ruined by an online lynch mob. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I mean, people tried to ruin my life for using the word "thug," which they claimed was a racial slur.
Remember: a sitting U.S. Congresswoman called Kellyanne Conway "Becky," a slur referring to her race, and there was no national conversation about political figures supporting racism and tearing the country apart. There was no condemnation. No censuring. Nothing. People laughed.
