It's difficult to form an opinion on this girl, a 16 year old that may suffer from Asperger's Syndrome who is "passionate" to fight against climate change.

Let's ask this first to the readers - what were you doing when you were 16?
@GretaThunberg When I was 16, in 2011, I developed a working model to scavenge energy from noise pollution and convert it to electricity. For that, I had to study about rectifiers, voltage multipliers, piezoelectricity and piezoelectric crystals, which were beyond the scope of school syllabus.
@GretaThunberg @DharmikSonal @SanjeevSanskrit @Aabhas24 @ishitadas4495 @arghadustu @ProudSanatani43 @miss_moronoxy Many design constraints as well as lack of knowledge, coupled with inadequate funds. But somehow me and my dad (who did the manual work and financing) made this and impressed the judges, winning the Darjeeling District Science Fair and Fifth in Eastern Regional Science Fair

1/ Kicking off our inimitable #G7Biarritz photo tour: Macron's "kill 'em w kindness" thumbs up, one of many, defined the Trump pacification exercise. And it worked like a charm. Said POTUS: “There was great unity…tremendous unity. Nobody wanted to leave.”📷Philippe Wojazer
2/ The #G7Biarritz containment effort started off with Macron commanding/commandeering Trump’s attention during a 5-minute televised encounter at Saturday lunch. This was about the only scene that circulated at the outset. (@andyharnik @AP_Images)
3/ This birds-eye view, distributed by the @G7, projecting a fantasy of, well, égalité and fraternité. Junking a final communique on day 1, the pic is an impersonal give away. The accomplishment of the 3 days is that we sat at the same table. #G7Biarritz

Ok, maybe you innocently bought mainstream media's misinformation about Brazil's wildfires. Your favorite artist/athlete shared a pic of a burning koala. A hopeless politician shared a photo from 2003. So, to help us all out: a thread #AmazonFires #ActForTheAmazon #MacronLies
Some maps and numbers: this is Brazil, 8.516.000 km², world's fifth-largest country and a magnificent forest on the top left of it.
Now, let's color in green every environmental conservation Area: national parks, wildlife reguges, national forests, etc, etc. There are 1.871 of them and alone they cover 18% of Brazil's territory.

#PASTBLAST: Last month, Trump INITIATED a phone call w/ Putin to offer help in putting out forest fires in Russia.

"They're having massive fires in their forests...I just offered our assistance because we're very good at putting out forest fires frankly."
#HMM: Wonder why Trump HASN'T offered Brazil any U.S. assistance in fighting the thousands of fires in the Amazon Rainforest?

Is it because he supports President Bolsonaro's anti-climate change/pro-deforestation policies? Or because Bolsonaro isn't Putin?
#FLAG: Knowing that other leaders plan to discuss the #AmazonFires and ways to pressure Brazil at the G7...

Trump reaffirmed his support for the pro-deforestation leader.

He told Bolsonaro we "stand ready to assist"...but exerted no pressure/took no steps to protect the Amazon.

Why is the Amazon burning?

Forest fires are common from July to October. But activists say Brazilian President Bolsonaro’s policies have encouraged farmers to clear land for crops or grazing - resulting in an increase in fires #AmazonFires [THREAD 🌳]

For 2 years we’ve fought to preserve [our reservation] & these assholes came in & burned it down.

They are killing our rivers, our sources of life, & now they have set our reserve on fire. Tomorrow we are closing the roads & I want all the media here to see this.

🌳By safeguarding sovereignty over ancestral lands-- which make up 1/4 of the earth's surface-- we can reverse deforestation
