With all due respect, I want to ingest whatever hallucinogenic Bill Kristol is using right now.
Genuine kudos to Kristol and all the other Never Trumpers who have made a very difficult & costly break with their party. But let's be real. After 3 years of Trump's presidential corruption & 70 years of Trump acting like creep, it is unlikely GOP will break with him now.
What could possibly come out in the next few weeks that is so much worse than what we already know, bad enough to flip GOP lawmakers who would tremble at the thought of whispering the mildest rebuke to Trump?

1. There's a consistent belief among some liberals & Never Trump conservatives that if challenged by figures of demonstrable patriotism, public service & heroism, Trump's followers will (or should) desert him. But that repeatedly hasn't happened. Why?
2. I think the mistake people are making is thinking that right-wing nationalism is about devotion to the country as a whole & to military service. Rather, it's devotion to the rule of a particular faction over the country.
3. The right believes that they are the nation, the true nation. So any soldier, no matter how demonstrably patriotic or heroic, who challenges them is an enemy of the nation. Hence Joseph McCarthy's attack on Marshall, swift boating of John Kerry, Trump's rubbishing of McCain.

1. In an excellent New York article @Olivianuzzi said Joe Biden is running a "zombie campaign." That's true but ... maybe ... possible ... that's a strength? Hear me out.
2. Joe Biden is like a zombie in many ways -- faltering, inarticulate, and even brainless -- but also strangely durable—indeed, virtually indestructible. Zombies are hard to kill since they are already dead. Biden's campaign is kind of like that. Zombis can win.

The first guy, Abraham by name, felt up the trunk and declared elephant is long & flexible.
When the elephant started probing with its trunk, seeking food, Abraham pushed his son to front.

Next guy Moses, when he approached, elephant lifted up its head & trunk.
Moses reached its leg, declared it is solid, straight like pillar & not flexible. He issued commandments, rigid, inflexible & hard as elephant hide.
