Six people have been killed by the NYPD in the last month. One of them was an NYPD officer. None of the people killed are alleged to have fired guns, even if police say they later found guns on them. It is not anti-cop to point out that this is a problem. nyti.ms/2NbZNZm
On September 29, NYPD officer Brian Mulkeen and a man he was pursuing, Antonio Williams, were both killed by another cop in a hail of gunfire while the two were struggling on the ground. A gun police say they found next to Mr. Williams had not been fired.

On October 15, NYPD officers killed Nasheem Prioleau. Initially police claimed Mr. Prioleau was in a shoot out with a second person and then engaged them in a "gun battle," but later reporting confirmed the gun they claim to have found on him was not fired.nytimes.com/2019/10/16/nyr…
On October 17, police killed an unarmed man after he got into what NYPD call a "violent struggle" with police. He was pulled over for not wearing a seatbelt and then told he was being arrested for failure to pay fines for infractions including littering.

On October 23, police killed Victor Hernandez, while he was naked in the corridor of a Bronx apartment building. An NYPD officer was also shot, initial reports said by a fellow NYPD officer, which also said Mr. Hernandez had not fired a gun.

And, of course, the most recent fatal shooting of Kwesi Ashun yesterday.
PS. In the initial tweet to this thread, I said none of the people killed by police were alleged to have fired guns. Police do now claim Mr. Fernandez fired a gun, whereas initial reporting was that he had a gun, but that it had not been fired.
