It's not clear why Bob Livingston lobbied for the firing of the US Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch. But we know Livingston didn't report his lobbying of State Dept. official Catherine Croft about Yovanovitch under FARA, and probably he should have. nytimes.com/2019/10/30/us/…
A few months after pushing for Yovanovitch's ouster, Livingston registered to lobby for Yulia Tymoshenko, sort of. He listed the client as "Innovative Technology and Business Consulting," an LLC, but the only work was arranging meetings for Tymoshenko.

These arrangements, where someone creates an LLC just to pay for lobbying in the US for an overseas client, are common but still super shady. There is no real reason to pay via an LLC except to hide the origin of the funds. ie. motherjones.com/politics/2018/…; motherjones.com/politics/2018/……;
LLCs are often a means for corrupt foreign politicians to pay lobbyists with money the politicians don't or can't admit to having. Then if they get exposed by press, they deny hiring the lobbyist. reuters.com/article/us-mal……;
But don't feel bad for the lobbyists. They know there is no good reason someone wants to pay them through a shady LLC, motherjones.com/politics/2019/……. They do it anyway because they want the money.
Before Livingston lobbied for Tymoshenko through an LLC, he lobbied for "Association of Enterprises UKRMETALURGPROM" an association of Urkainian steel companies, seemingly to prevent steel Trump steel tariffs on Ukraine.
Maybe revealingly, on 7/6/18, under a rule that you have to file informational materials you send out under FARA, Livingston shared a doc that lists the association of Ukrainian steel companies as the client but says the work was lobbying for Tymoshenko: efile.fara.gov/docs/6344-Info… 
Either that filing was a mistake, or Livingston previously lobbied for Tymoshenko with the Ukrainian steel group footing the bill, then switched the nominal client to an LLC. That would make sense if an oligarch has secretly been bankrolling lobbying for Tymoshenko.
Anyway, we can speculate if the funder of Livingston's lobbying was an oligarch like Viktor Pinchuk, for whom Livingston has also worked, someone else, offshore funds Tymoshenko may have, or some combo. It's for Livingston, who is supposed to disclose this info, to explain.
