Lev Parnas, a Florida resident who Giuliani claims he represented while seeking dirt in Biden and other information in Ukraine, says in a text message that he has hired John Dowd as his attorney.
Dowd of course is a former lawyer for President Trump.
Trump's former lawyer, who still talks regularly with Trump, was retained by two (maybe former) clients of Trump's current lawyer. motherjones.com/politics/2019/…
Asked about when he represented Parnas and Fruman, given their recent hiring of Dowd, Giuliani texted: “Who cares as Nero is burning Rome you’re trying to figure out if the Fire Department is to blame..." I asked if he meant to liken Trump to Nero. Rudy responded: "No Joe Biden."

Last year, Ukrainian lawmakers admitted that Poroshenko's government halted cooperation with Mueller regarding Manafort/corruption because they didn't want to upset Trump while they were buying US anti-tank missiles. This seems strangely forgotten. nytimes.com/2018/05/02/wor…
Maybe this story got overlooked because some of the same conduct was cited in a much more sensation BBC story that they ended up retracting. But the stopped-cooperating-with-Mueller-to-please-Trump-while-buying-arms piece was not disputed. theguardian.com/media/2019/mar….
Gotta wonder if there was a deal, implicit or real re Manafort/Manafort that set the stage for the possible quid pro quo Trump and Rudy dangled regarding the Bidens.

The transcript in the Mueller report from the voicemail that Trump's lawyer John Dowd left for Rob Kelner, Flynn's lawyer, after Dowd realized Flynn had likely cut a deal with prosecutors left out some possibly significant words. soundcloud.com/kadhim-shubber… …
Seeming to chose his words carefully, Dowd lays out two possibilities, taking pains to distinguish them. 1. Flynn is cooperating and hence must leave the joint defense agreement. 2. Flynn is cooperating and is giving prosecutors information "that implicates the president."
Then Dowd says, "if it's the former" -- meaning the first possibility where Flynn is not providing information that implicates the president -- "remember what we've always said about the president and his feeling toward Flynn and that all that still remains."

1. Does anyone know if we have sold #Ukraine more #Javelins as requested in the call? I have reported extensively on Ukraine since 2014 Maidan & I don't think they have used what we sold them earlier & Russia would be pretty unhappy if they got more. I thought we supplied 200.

This may backfire on the Dems

It's a legitimate request to look at a flagrant abuse of state power by Biden
Biden forced Ukraine to fire a prosecutor who was going to investigate the corrupt oligarch his son Hunter worked for by threatening to withhold $1B. Biden brags about it in this video,

If Trump was talking to #Ukraine about this real abuse
Biden is the one w/ a big problem
Trump has every right to ask a foreign leader to investigate corrupt actions of a former US VP

It would be wrong to let Biden slide because he is running for office again. His abuse of power previously is a matter that deserves investigation regardless
