So many voices.
All the time.
Even when you try to listen to good, constructive ones, the sound in your head can be overwhelming, paralyzing.
I just want to remind you today to listen to the still, small one.
Remember who you are...beloved daughter, beloved son.
Remember who that voice says that you are.
Remember the love that you came from, & back to which you yet must go.
Your history matters, but you are not the sum of your history.
So remember the future, too.
Return to your self.
Come home, to the home inside you.
You don't have to travel to get there.
God is inside.
You get to be at home wherever you are, right now.
Wherever you are now is where Love is, where God is, where home is.
You are allowed to stop searching, & just be.
Where you are in this moment, is where you are supposed to be.
Where is God/where is Love, in this place?
What is the invitation, here?
You say you are about to collapse. Why don't you?
There are worse things than falling apart, & falling apart is not the same thing as giving up.
Destiny is not on your shoulders. Everything is not riding on you.
Can you let go of your need to be significant, so you can be loved?
Can you let go of being useful, & learn you are of no use to God, nor to others?
Do you realize that you are not a thing to be used, at all, by anyone?
Can you accept for a moment that your that life actually is kind of ridiculous?
Does your life have to mean anything in particular, in order for it to matter?
Do you really need all this "meaning?'
Could loving & being loved, be enough?
You are not who they say you are.
Nobody else gets to name you.
Nobody else gets to tell you what your story means.
Could God be telling a more beautiful story of your life, than the story you tell about yourself, or even to yourself?
And neither do you.
Why do you think you need to know everything?
Knowing is overrated.
Being is underrated.
Be present to this moment. Attend to what is now.
Wherever you are...all of you is welcome.
Welcome home.
