All people want is for a politician to be good at his job. Buttigieg caught on for punching above his weight. He earned that. But if they let you in the ring, you’d better be able to stay there.
I don’t buy the argument that Buttigieg is favored over Booker and Castro for being white. Both are known quantities to a primary voter; Booker is a disgraceful politician. Castro has more talent but has the smell of yesterday. He shouldn’t have taken HUD.
When the new man starts hitting, you watch him. But you wait to see if the pitchers can figure him out.
