(1)Where Zimbabwe is needs something radical to pull the country off the economic arroyo we are in. It is quite evident the people at the helm have failed, will always fail, & on their own, cannot lead us out of the economic dungeon we are in.
(2) Even if we have cabinet reshuffling every month, we are going nowhere. It is clear, more than ever that Zanu-PF as the governing party, or is it "ruling," has failed.Sadly, the main opposition party seems contend with being opposition thus not prepared to step in & takeover
(3)There is need for a broader movement, one which includes everyone except a few benefitting from the current chaos, to force ED, Chiwenga & Mohadi to resign. It's gud 4 the three old men to take a rest.Its clear they have no idea on what needs 2b done & not part of the future
(4) More importantly, even when good ideas are thrown unto them, the good ideas simply cease to work because of the toxicity dogging the three. There is disgruntlement in the Zanu-PF politburo, central committee, among soldiers, police other govt workers & simply everyone in Zim
(5)Political party labels have been dissuading Zimbabweans from working together caz of perceived ideological differences & toxic labels far divorced from our lived realities. We now need a new movement, a coming together of our pple caz of our lived circumstances.
(6) It is time Zimbabweans demand their country back.We need a movement that brings the security sector to the pple. The soldiers,police,CIOs are not spared the current hardships.They feel the pain all of us are feeling, the weekly fuel hikes, the constantly eroded buying power
(7)Lets forget political party identity & for once, demand good governance. Let's demand the resignation of ED, Chiwenga & Mohadi. We need a new arrangement cutting across political parties, civil society & any other social identities we putting on ourselves.
(8)It can be done.The pple can demand it on the streets.While in the past it has been the common person demonstrating on foot who has met the full wrath of police teargas, batons & army's live bullets on the pretext that the security men will be protecting private property
(9)We can have private property protesting. Yes, you heard me well. Our cars can protest, we can use them to demand our country back. Let them send a clear message that even if you ban the owners from demonstrating, they can demonstrate themselves.
(10)In the midst of extraordinary circumstances, we need extraordinary ways of forcing our will.We can demand resignation of the top 3 & call for a new, inclusive arrangement tasked with bringing a new order in which sanctity of life is paramount, rule of law scared & honesty key
(11)We can demand a country in which making money isn't criminal, investment is secure & those who can confess to their past economic crimes provided with a blanket amnesty provided all looted money is brought back to the country.
(12)We can have our own truth & reconciliation commission giving both human rights abusers & economic criminals a chance to repent,show contrition & a will to be better citizens willing to build a new Zim in which rule of law, constitutionalism & good governance r sacred.
13)But the 1st thing is 4 us to build this movement, an inclusive mvt that cuts across political party affiliations.We need people's power expressed in the streets in a new fashion.We can do this Zimboz. In the next few weeks we are setting up the terms of reference for this mvt
(14) But our demands are clear from hereon. We call ED & his 2 deputies to resign.We need an inclusive govt made up of pple from different political & social backgrounds to chat the wayforward for the country.We need a stop to cartels, we need a pple's govt. Watch this space!!!
(15) We need a govt prepared to create an environment for our pple to be happy again. A govt that provides basic services in health & education. A govt that provides security to its citizens, a govt that creates a conducive atmosphere for investment etc.
(16) Zimbabwe Arise!!! Demand a new life, a new order. Let's demand it in the streets, lets flood our streets in our cars and let our cars do the talking and announce the coming in of a new Zimbabwe, a new government and a new president.
