1/Vaccinations started in the 80s in #Zimbabwe. My 2 younger siblings & I were sickly. Older siblings born before vaccines were healthy. All my life I was in & out of the hospital coz of vaccines &high carb diet. Half my classmates were & 1 of 7classes had serious vaccine injuries
2/ I struggled with sleep, had night terrors daily &bedwetted. I never had a restful sleep, I woke up tired. In #Zimbabwe they call it “buka”I struggled with reading notes. I could only read from texts &had high visual memory. I noticed that mental clarity increased when I jogged
3/my classmates struggled with learning difficulties & physical illnesses. The poorest struggled the most as proteins in diet mitigate vaccine damage. Poor people eat more carbs that worsen vaccine damages. In all classes @ least half were injured. This got worse on lower grades

I'm so heartbroken💔, I'm so angry. My cousin died today in a hospital queue in excruciating pain waiting to be served. It isn't only how he died, but how he lived that breaks my heart to think of & is hard to accept. Even as I spoke to him on the phone in that queue, I didn't...
Think it was his time to go. Coz how is it that life could be so tragic for him & end just right there! How can life enslave him to a chronic illness for all his adult life in a country like ours #Zimbabwe & just give nothing back to his last breath. I have to tell his story...
My cousin Thokozani was an amazing human, a tall gentle giant in his prime about to finish his teaching diploma when he fell ill. He was diagnosed with kidney failure & with all that shock & no explanations he had to start living on dialysis just to be alright.

Sergey Soygu, Russian defence minister, has subbed #America like eight times in his speech. FTT, he's right. America has lost the war in #Afghanistan.

"#Africa is of particular concern because our Western partners have not allowed them to stabilise economically."

Is he right? Image
He just reminded us that the Soviet Union supported many liberation movements with #Africa, and has offered a hand of friendship.

P.S I hate it when they (and they're all guilty of this) of talking of Africa as a country.
Another direct sub: "we will sign agreements with our African friends without imposing our ways on you like our Western partners do."

Zanu PF’s Newfound Comfort Zone: Hegemony Beyond Elections? #Zimbabwe
takura-zhangazha.blogspot.com/2021/06/zanu-p…
Zimbabwe’s current ruling party Zanu Pf is noticeably beginning to exude a specific confidence about how it is running the country.  Not necessarily through its own members but those that are at its political and strategic helm.
I would also hazard to call it a newfound comfort zone that is largely about reducing our long duree culture of relatively populist political contests for power.  They want to be seen and acknowledged as 'doers'.  Not quite in the tradition of typical performance legitimacy

1/ ANTI-CHINESE RACISM & VACCINE HESITANCY IN AFRICA

“No way I’m taking that China vaccine,” is a phrase I’ve heard tons in #Zimbabwe from friends, family, & HCWs, after 200,000 doses of the #Sinopharm #vaccine arrived from China last week.

TLDR-this is racism. Get vaccinated.
2/ While governments have welcomed strengthening Sino-African relations, many people think of Chinese presence as neocolonialism. They’re half right. But it’s more complex than this.

theguardian.com/cities/2018/ju…
3/ This has made anti-Chinese sentiment rife and acceptable in Africa.

My family members accuse Chinese restaurants of serving up stolen pet dogs to their patrons. Friends say they would never board a “xing-xong” airplane.

The complex geopolitics get conflated with RACISM.

@BitiTendai violated my rights as a woman. He violently pointed his fingers at my face and threatened me. To put this into context neither me nor my company had any prior dealings with this man, we have never spoken to him and yet his behavior was irrational, hysterical...
