Key point here how every issue can get turned into an antisemitic protest in the blink of an eye no matter where it started. These students have grown to expect any protest to morph into an antisemitic rally. Put yourself in their shoes 
Custodial wages? The Jews. Police violence against African Americans? The Jews. Imagine showing up to rallies for progressive causes to offer solidarity to others only to keep seeing the finger pointed at you.

When you see progressive writers on here roll their eyes and tell ppl to stop paying attention to what’s happening on college campuses, this is one thing they’re asking you to ignore. Remember that.
When you stood silent as many of us were smeared as bigots for calling out progressive antisemitism, this young gay progressive Jewish kid was the one you were really hurting. Look him in the eyes and explain to him that you enabled antisemitism to own the cons. Go on, tell him.
You watched all this happening to your fellow Jews and you kept your coward mouth shut. At least open your eyes to see the consequences.
