So what? Apart from more money for every pupil, which children will look forward to, but don't think it quite means what it says. What is going to improve - economy, schools, NHS waiting times, less crime etc?

Anybody going to guarantee to get rid of dangerous cladding on buildings, bolster flood defences, make it easier to see a GP? Otherwise we have a contest to throw around money to no particular purpose.
Ironically in light of Labour's specific but long-term promise on broadband, currently suffering from very limited connectivity due to a major outage.
