What Jennifer Williams brings to the hearings:
-Establishes that Trump told Pence he wouldn't go to Zelensky's inauguration on 5/13
-On the Trump/Zelensky 7/25 call
-Attended 9/01 Pence/Zelensky meeting (said nothing improper happened)
As far as I'm aware, no one has explained why Trump told Pence not to go to Zelensky's inauguration on 5/13. But the decision came from Trump himself.

The timing places it days after Rudy talked investigations to NYT and then cancelled his own trip to Ukraine due to backlash
"I was concerned by the call," Vindman said. "What I heard was inappropriate. It was improper for the president of the United States to demand a foreign government investigate a political opponent."
Schiff opens by asking about a 9/18 Pence/Zelensky call. Williams's lawyer says, OVP has taken the position that that's classified. But they direct us to her public testimony. Here's what she said about it (doesn't seem bad)
Schiff asked if there was anything in the call "that you think may be relevant to our investigation."

Williams + lawyer referred to her previous testimony. But also said she'd be happy to say more in a classified setting. (So maybe there's more?)

The thing that makes me think the omission of Burisma from the quasi-transcript may not be nefarious is that several mentions of "Biden" were left in.

Burisma was supposed *to be the code* for investigating Biden. A truly doctored transcript would leave in Burisma but omit Biden
Goldman says that the below Volker text to Yermak (laying out quid pro quo) was less than half an hour before the 7/25 call.

(Tim Morrison testified that Sondland also emailed that morning to say he'd spoken to Trump to brief him on the impending call. Lots of clear setup)
Vindman repeats his testimony that, on 7/10, Sondland specifically referred to "investigations into the Bidens."

(Fiona Hill testified she didn’t recall the name Biden being mentioned. But she came in late to the second part of the meeting.)
Nunes tries repeatedly to get Vindman to say the whistleblower's name. (To name a member of the intelligence community he spoke with about the Trump call.) Nunes kind of shittily says he's taking "the Fifth" if he won't answer.

Vindman's lawyer and Schiff object. And we move on.
Just as a logical point: It seems to be the case that many officials *strongly suspect* who the whistleblower is, but don't have rock-solid confirmation. From that they are saying they don't "know" who it is.
Schiff suggesting that Trump may have told Pence not to attend Zelensky's inauguration because Giuliani was mad at the people around Zelensky.

Days earlier, Rudy had called off his Ukraine trip and complained about Zelensky's advisers to NYT
