I believe any of these four could unite the party, energize it, win the election and lead effectively. (Yes, I believe Oklahoma born, up by her bootstraps, let's help all Americans Elizabeth Warren can do it too...despite the one-sided, misleading press she has gotten recently.)

Sometimes I really feel like I am losing it as the evidence piles up about the connections between Trump 2016 and Brexit and Russia interfering across Europe and no one in power cares to focus on the big picture...
...that Russia is waging an active, on-going war against Western democracies, the Western alliance and the post-WWII international order and we are passively letting it happen to us (or, in the case of Trump, Johnson, Farage & Co. actively supporting it.)
It seems so clear. The threat and the damage done seems so great. And it is so misleading to view each front in this war as separate and not as part of the whole, as a tactical advance and not part of a greater strategy. And, what's more, I'm just one voice among many...

Whoever decided that it would be a good idea to try to upstage the impeachment hearings with a press event with a foreign autocrat who has just attacked an American ally and who is directly responsible for serial human rights abuses, who is contemptuous of democracy...
...and of this president, who is collaborating closely with American enemies and rivals undermining the NATO alliance and the stability of the Middle East, who just with Trump gave the biggest gift to ISIS that it has received since its founding...
..and who represents a country w/which Trump has numerous, compromising financial ties (and which had dubious ties to many on team Trump including former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn)...whoever thought that was a good idea, must be a very bad, not very smart president.

To recap, while I agree with @repadamschiff that the bribery case against Trump is the strongest because bribery is specifically mentioned in the Constitution as grounds for impeachment, there are other v. nearly equally strong counts that could be brought:
1. We know he lied under oath to Mueller
2. We know he violated both the foreign and domestic emoluments clauses of the Constitution
3. We know he violated FEC rules (per the Cohen case)
4. We know he obstructed justice many times (per Mueller)
5. We know he failed to cooperate with subpoenas from the Congress
6. We know he violated the law requiring him to turn over his taxes to the Congress

These are all clear cut cases where there are mountains of proof and where prosecution of anyone else would take place.

To clarify, I'm going by poll averages over the past few months. I don't think the debates have materially changed the dynamics of the race or altered the top tier.
That said, I think Biden's recent downward drift and Warren's rise will continue.

The outlier among the frontrunners is #Biden, who took a wait-and-see attitude. In his
statement, #Mueller declaratively punted the ball to Congress.

The order: Klobuchar, Warren, Sanders, Harris and Buttigieg.

Klobuchar gets three good questions right out of the gate.

Where does she stand on:
1) Pursuing impeachment
2) Criminal justice reform
3) College tuition and student loan debt forgiveness

Meandered on impeachment; gave a fairly vanilla answer on CJ; balked at free college.
Generally speaking, having now watched Klobuchar in public forums like this Town Hall a few times:

Even as a careful listener, I find it very hard to peg what her position is on overall issues.

Lots of details. No pithy, memorable lines. Becomes static for me quickly.

There are currently 14 MAJOR Democratic candidates*, per 538:

Met DNC debate standards: Bernie, Harris, Beto, Warren, Booker, Klobuchar, Castro, Gillibrand, Buttigieg, Inslee, Yang.
Met 538 standards: Hickenlooper, Delaney, Gabbard

* Not counting Biden, who isn't running yet.

I was attacked viciously by Democrats last year for saying that #Avenatti was not only not presidential material, but dangerous for Dems to tie themselves to, that he had questionable history with clients and contractors and women.

I was the 1st journalist Avenatti blocked.

Hundreds of Democrats, including some prominent Twitter voices, claimed he would be our best choice for 2020 and excoriated me for "being divisive."
Avenatti tanked the fight against #Kavanaugh by bringing in a questionable witness who gave the #GOP an excuse to ignore Ford.
2/
Many of the #Avenatti fans are now pushing #Biden, which I have also said is a huge error in judgement.
Just as I warned #Mueller was not going to save us.
My point is simply that some of us have been covering politics for decades and doing it without fealty to individuals.
