An element that's overlooked in the debate about Peter Handke's Nobel Prize -- the victims & survivors who are being lectured to or dismissed are Muslim. An anti-Muslim bias is not a bug but a feature of this @NobelPrize.
@NobelPrize Not that it operates in an explicit way. It's just that the Swedish intellectuals (or whatever they are) who decide the Nobel Prize do not identify, cannot identify, do not care about the victims as much as they would if the victims were something other than Muslims in Bosnia.
@NobelPrize The same dynamic existed in the 1990s war. Why didn't the U.S. intervene sooner? I wrote, back then, that if a fanatical Muslim regime in Belgrade had been slaughtering Christians in Sarajevo, intervention would have been immediate. But Bosnia was Islam. We didn't care so much.
