EFCC Arrests Operators, Trainees of Yahoo Academy in Akwa Ibom

Operatives of the EFCC, Uyo Zonal Office in a joint operation with some of the Commission's operatives from Abuja, in the early hours of Thursday, November 28, 2019, stormed a building described as 'YAHOO ACADEMY'...
...allegedly used solely for the training of youngsters in various aspects of cyber criminality. During the raid on Essien Essien Street, Ikot Ibiok village in Eket Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, 23 suspects including oprrators and trainees were arrested.
The suspects were between the ages of 19 and 35. They have confessed that they were undergoing training in various aspects of cyber criminality such as Love Scam, Online Trading Scam, Theft Identity etc.

...purporting that the Commission had dropped the criminal charge against a former minister of petroleum resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke and other persons indicted for money laundering.
The Commission enjoins members of the public to disregard the report which is false and misleading. At no time did the Commission withdraw the charge, which is still before Justice Muslim Hassan of the Federal High Court, Lagos.

Sixteen Local Government Chairmen of Kwara State are presently being interrogated by the Ilorin Zonal Office of the EFCC over alleged misappropriation of part of N4 billion (Four Billion Naira) Loan & ten percent of State IGR.

Others are, Oladipo Omole, Abdullahi Abubakar Bata, Saka Eleyele, Lateef Gbadamosi, Oni Adebayo Joseph,  Omokanye Joshua Olatunji and Jibril Salihu.

Naira Marley’s trial stalled as Defense Demands More Documents

The trial of Afeez Adesina Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley before Justice I. Nicholas Oweibo sitting in Federal High Court Ikoyi, Lagos was stalled today, Tuesday, October 22, 2019...
...as the defense counsel brought in a “motion on notice” asking the prosecution to front load more documents.

The Nigeria artiste, Afeez Adesina Fashola was arraigned, on May 20, 2019 on an 11-count charge of credit card fraud preferred against him by the EFCC.
The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to all the charge leading to the commencement of trial.

She was talented and interpreted the role very well
Her delivery was also top notch

Operation Catechism

Operation Catechism was a British air raid of World War II that destroyed the German battleship Tirpitz. It was conducted on 12 November 1944 by 29 Royal Air Force heavy bombers that attacked the battleship at its anchorage near the Norwegian city of Tromsø.
The ship capsized after being hit by at least two bombs and damaged by the explosions of others, killing between 940 and 1,204 members of the crew; the British suffered no casualties.

2. To recap: In Northern #Syria Turkey wants a 32-kilometer deep, 460 kilometer long safe zone under Turkish control (as per map).

Turkish, US officials agree northern Syria safe-zone will be a "peace corridor" and agreed on establishment of a joint operations centre as soon as possible.

2007: Maj Gen Joseph Ayango #Aondo (rtd) was #killed in the federal capital, #Abuja, 14 June 2007. He had been chairman of the political campaign group, #Yar'Adua Associates, was seized at the entrance to his house, driven 5km on the Kubwa expressway, then shot dead in his car.
