Malta Prime Minister Muscat announces resignation effective in January. This is a horrible article by @AP that attempts to blame the murder victim for making these corrupt politicians hate her...

Justice is being done because PM Muscat's cover up failed.
Not because he helped move the case forward.
Trying to pretend the blame stops with an oligarch, when hid own Chief of Staff & 2 cabinet members have been implicated.
Why was Daphne murdered? For investigating Muscat & is friends.
AP points to 'scorn' at Dahne's reporting, yeah from murderous members of the Maltese Swamp. Of course they hate people proving they are corrupt. This is a horrible angle for AP to take.
Even quoting Muscat in referirng to her 'negative qualities' while trumpeting his talking point that criticizing her & her reporting should not be portrayed as supporting her murder. Even by those who arranged it apparently...
"political opposition seized" is the Maltese equivalent of "Republicans pounced"
Blaming the sluggishness of the institutions, which means the #SwampCreatures, as they drag their feet to protect corrupt politicians. Muscat celebrates those institutions, 'they work' for the Swamp.
PM Muscat & his cabinet have blocked immunity in exchange for Fenech's testimony in the murder case. A case where the PM, his Chief of Staff & 2 cabinet officials have been identified as the suspects who had Fenech murder Daphne.
Muscat even reinstated one of his cabinet officials who stepped down last week when arrested for questioning in the murder.

The Swamp is deep in Malta, but it is connected to many of the other Swamps around the world. Draining it will provide the #receipts for many other cases!

Of course, the Swamp is in panic self-defense mode, but I don't think it will survive.

It takes time to drain the Swamp, because it has constructed so many firewalls that have to bee torn down first. Like judges appointed to protect the Swamp...

Case is expected to come to fruition in 2020!
Each cooperation effort leads to new #receipts that allow DOJ & other prosecutors to get from the banks, to the bankers, & eventually to the customers that were laundering the money!

@A50Challenge have made this perfectly clear.
@afneil @A50Challenge 1. Andrew Neil has suggested that the leaflet the government sent to every household said: “we will implement your decision”. This in itself is correct. But leaflets do not constitute law. He has clearly confused political and parliamentary sovereignty.
@afneil @A50Challenge 2. The Government maintains that the 2016 EU Referendum was a decision to leave the EU – a decision “by the people”. This is untrue. The Referendum was advisory only- the Supreme Court has ruled that neither the govt nor the people are legally entitled to make such a decision.

We also know, thanks to @lukedalli88 & co going live on Facebook, the almost exact start and end times: 11.40am CET to 4pm CET.

4 hours 20 mins for 14 km in open water with a tough force 4-5 NW wind.
4 hrs 20 mins in seconds is 15,600 seconds for 14,000 metres. So @Michelle_Muscat swam at a constant rate of 14,000/15,600 or 0.897 m/s for 14 kilometers.

That’s 3.2184 km/h by the way.
