The bottom line.
People voted for Trump to run the country the way he ran his businesses
They knew he was a liar,a cheat and a bully
There knew he was a mysoginist and a racist
They voted for him BECAUSE he was those things...

The people who did not vote for him, did not, because they knew he was a liar, a cheat and a bully.
They knew he was a misogynist and a racist.
That is why they didn’t vote for him

Once he was elected, those divisions remain.

Those who support him, feel like he is doing exactly what they elected to do

Those who do not, are horrified watching him do, exactly what they were afraid he was going to do.

So it is no surprise that the numbers never move.

The 40% who voted for him, love him
And always will. Because they are not values voters, or maybe they are, just not the ones the rest of us live by. Like honesty,integrity and decency

So...the minds of Trump supporters will never be changed, because they see NOTHING WRONG

It is up to the rest of us to protect this country from them

In this country we have not lived up to the values we espouse. We have much to be ashamed of

But we have never before CELEBRATED ignorance, bigotry, bullying, intolerance, xenophobia, lying and cheating

We used to consider those attributes shameful

I saw today that he only has a 26% approval rating in the UK

I wonder why THEY are so angry that Clinton lost that they irrationally hate him?

Oh, and I forgot to mention...selling out our most sacred right
A free and unencumbered election.

A President like Trump is the reason that the founding fathers put impeachment into the constitution.
A man who seeks his country to a foreign adversary
