Oof. I know it's hard to judge based on trailers, especially when they're being purposefully cute about playing coy, but the new Ghostbusters trailer is kind of giving me Michael Bay Transformers movie vibes?
My fear is that the ill-informed backlash to Answer The Call ("They made a gross-out comedy with SNL comedians instead of actors!") might have shaped this into a movie that ignores the comedy and thus the heart of the franchise.

Don't get me wrong, I am interested in all kinds of different takes on the source material. I'm just... okay, Jason Reitman basically propped up his film by taking shots at the last one and implying his was not a "take on" but the Ghostbusters 3 that the angry mob wanted.
