The system needs more shocks for people realize at a personal level the need for radical change. Too many are still thinking we can wait out the clock and it'll automatically roll back to 2016, not realizing that (a) there's no going back; (b) 2016 and before were also shit.
History isn't linear. The system needs to be smashed into a thousand bits so that people stop trying to resuscitate a terrible system and start pouring their energy, creativity, and resources towards building a new, more just, more egalitarian, more inclusive system.
I say that knowing full well that it's us - the people living outside the so called "liberal world order" - who stand to hurt the most as that order is smashed and destroyed. The irony is that we were never part of the pax, it was built upon our blood and bones, yet we suffer.
But "let's go back to 2016" isn't good enough for me and I won't lift a finger to help you salvage a system that excluded me, empowered my persecutors, and crushed my people, all the while enriching those who don't give a flying fuck what happens to us. Let it burn to hell.
Either we all, every last one of us, lives in peace and dignity, or fuck it all to hell. Burn it to the ground.
