Open Source Investigation - Credible Threats to PM's Security and Incitement to Public Disorder by Advocate Mian Adnan Shaukat [Thread]
About an hour ago, Advocate Mian Adnan Shaukat (hereinafter 'Adv Shaukat') posted a purported leaked wireless communication by police. He directly threatened Pak PM and also encouraged violence against what he calls "state terrorism". Archived copy: archive.vn/tQAF9

Adv Shaukat had earlier (2nd Dec) incited his likeminded associates to raid IG Punjab Office (@PunjabPoliceCPO).
And before that, on 27th Nov, he encouraged physical violence as 'revenge' against YDA.
Adv Shaukat hails from Bahawalnagar.
Adv Shaukat is apparently an active member of PML-N Social Media Wing, even attended official programmes including Workers Convention.

As a citizen of Pakistan, I request authorities concerned including @OFFICIALDPRPP, @PunjabPoliceCPO, @UsmanAKBuzdar, @PakPMO to investigate the matter in light of these open source leads.
I would like to iterate that not a single piece of information has been extracted through unlawful/ illegal means. All these bits and pieces were collected through publicly-accessible and publicly-visible open sources.
It is a universally-accepted rule among practitioners/ trainers of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) and Social Media Intelligence (SOCMINT) that any bit of information set to public visibility denotes a desire to 'be seen' and does not in any way constitute a breach of privacy.
Lastly, before I conclude, I will not and cannot engage in implicating/accusing any individual or political entity of any violent conduct. That is for the state authorities to investigate and decide accordingly [End]
