Ring has blamed its users for the spate of hacks over the last week. But our own tests have found that the company doesn't even take the most basic of security precautions. Bottom line: Buying a Ring camera makes you less safe

- Learned there's no Ring login rate limiting
- Stayed logged in on multiple devices after enabling 2FA
- Learned there's no history or record of login locations

A lot of people asking about Nest & other cameras, and whether their security is better ... my advice is ... don't get any of them. Don't surveil yourself
