I ultimately decided that the best way for me to make the impact that I wanted to make was to create something new. There's a huge disparity in venture including only 9% of equity going towards women & less than 3% of funding going to female founding teams. That's ridiculous (3/8

I’ve learned a lot on this journey: from fundraising to running a business (founders, I feel your pain)! But the most important lesson I learned was how lucky I am to have mentors, colleagues and friends who believed in me before I did & encouraged this irrational path. (5/8)
