As the year 2019 comes to a close and 2020 begins, I want to make a humble appeal to all of my followers:

SUPPORT INDEPENDENT MEDIA.

We live in a time when the 'mainstream' media is not mainstream anymore. It's not that people aren't watching TV or reading newspapers, they are, but now people want news faster and in a more relatable format.

Digital Media is filling that void.

It is the new mainstream.

You can see yourself how TV news has become a Newsance (😉).

It's like they want to put up a verbal WWE match on a divisive issue every damn night.

The reason why they do it is for your eyeballs. They want you to watch toxic TV news, so that you will also watch their ads.

Simply put, the more insane TV News gets, the more you will watch. The more you watch, the more money they make.

It's a creepy virtuous cycle.

Independent Media, the media YOU PAY FOR, doesn't have to care about being dramatic. Because they don't have to care about ads!

As long as you support independent media, they will serve you. They will give you info which serves your interests.

The only way to be an anti-establishment media today, the ONLY way for independent media to survive, is if they get the support of the public.

I work with @newslaundry, which has one singular objective: You pay, so we serve you.

It's a lot like how a performer jumps from a stage into the crowd, trusting that the crowd will catch him/her. We are doing the same.
