Sauté sliced medium onion with 1/3 c oil in the pot. As onion browns mix 1 lb ground beef w 1/2 c breadcrumbs, chopped cilantro/garlic/ginger, 1 TB each red chili powder, cumin seeds, garam masala, 1/2 tsp ground clove, salt n black pepper to taste. Add 1 c yogurt and knead. 1/
Once onions are deep brown add 1 large chopped tomato & 1/2 cup yogurt, 1TBS garlic/ginger paste, 1 tsp each turmeric powder, cumin seeds, garam masala and red chili powder. Salt to taste. Fry to make thick masala base. Turn off pot. Shape meatballs and arrange in pot. 2/
Add 2 c water and close the pot, set to meat/stew setting for 30 mins. Garnish w fresh chopped cilantro and serve w hot white rice or naan. End.
