In the last decade, I left the law, started a business, birthed two kids . . .

In the last decade, I left the law, started a business, birthed two kids . . .
. . . scaled the business, went from a tiny shop to working with F500 companies on culture transformation, leadership and D&I, got divorced, moved from the East Coast to the West Coast, landed a book deal, unexpectedly ended up with a massive viral broadcast on politics . . .
. . . did a coast-to-coast speaking tour, trained thousands of women online on how to use their voices for change, started a top business podcast on iTunes, rode through some really gnarly financial shit thanks to my divorce, worked with 20+ first time candidates for office . . .
. . . started a documentary film project with amazing people at the top of their game, accepted and embraced the demands of single motherhood to two of the most incredible kids on earth, took command of my physical health in new and awesome ways . . .
. . . and then, spent the last three months in anxiety about what feels to be another massive uplevel on the way very, very soon.
I am proud of all of it, including & especially all the things that have been far from perfect, all the lessons learned, and all the work left to do.

2020 feels like it's going to bring incredible, radical important work, on a larger platform and with people at the top of their game on all fronts (heyyyyy @TobyGialluca, @MsLaToshaBrown, @cindygallop, @cmclymer, @lanarushing, @EllieAltshuler and way more).
I'm also explicitly taking a page from @Lesdoggg and calling in love this year, and not just any old love. (I mean, if you had any idea the shit I've written down on this in the last month...)
I'm calling in more joy for my children, more family time, and more ease generally.

No surprises to anyone I'm also calling in revolution-- an epic worldwide revolving toward connection, rebirth, justice, freedom and a healthy planet.

And as for me personally, I'm at a point I've been at before of recognizing that epic upleveling only happens when you surrender to the ride.
