We’ll spend the New Year saying goodbye to our mistakes and promising a better version of ourselves in 2020.

Mistakes are misunderstood. Sure they’re messy. But they often teach us more than our successes.

Tell me one mistake you made this year & why you’re glad it happened.
My 2019 mistake is that I got totally scammed by a source. Someone who forged documentation, used fake online profiles, and blatantly lied in on record interviews. I wasted weeks of work and many midnight hours following leads that didn’t exist.

But I learned something important
Sometimes the story isn’t what you think it is. But you have to see it through, no matter where it leads.

I lost an opportunity but I walked away with my integrity. And a new circle of connections that I hope will serve me well in the future.
